Terms & Conditions

1. SESSION RULES & TIMING.

​

1.1. Each session is 60 minutes in length unless specifically stated and agreed with Lift-AF.

​

1.2. Sessions will run at the scheduled time and finish on time. Any late arrivals will still end when scheduled and you will have forfeited any time that you are late to the session.

​

1.3. Clothing worn to sessions must be suitable, safe and comfortable for the session planned. Clients unsure of the appropriate clothing can contact us via email or contact form on this website.

2. PAYMENTS & EXPIRY

​

2.1. Pre-paid packages (4, 8 or 12 sessions) must be paid in full 48 hours before the first training session or bookings may not be upheld. (if paid within 72 hours no cancellation refund is possible as per 3.3)

​

2.2. Pre-paid packages must be used within 1 month of the first session. Changes and extensions to this are subject to the discretion of Lift-AF and must be pre-approved before the first training session.

​

2.3. Pay as you go sessions must be paid in full on booking.

​

2.4. Extensions to this without pre-approval apply only to major life events like serious illness, injury or pregnancy that you did not know of prior to payment.

3. CANCELLATIONS

​

3.1. Clients must give at least 24 hours notice to reschedule training.

​

3.2. Pay as you go clients must give 48 hours notice to cancel sessions to be eligible for refund.

​

3.3. Pre-paid package clients must give 72 hours notice to cancel purchased packages to be eligible for refund.

​

3.4. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit the session fee, unless due to major illness or injury, that the client did not know of prior to booking the session. The refund/ rescheduling of the sessions is at the discretion of Lift-AF.

3.5. Lift-AF is also entitled to sick days and holiday. If this impacts a clients scheduled training Lift-AF will notify you as soon as is possible and reschedule at no cost to the client.

4. HEALTH & SAFETY

​

4.1. Clients must fill out a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) honestly and to the best of their knowledge prior to any training commencing.

​

4.2. Clients must fill out any other important health, emergency contact, or other forms that Lift-AF or JD Gyms deem necessary prior to any training commencing. Clients will be informed of these during the initial consultation.

5. GARENTEES

​

5.1. Lift-AF guarantees we will train clients to the best of our ability and use the appropriate methods of training for the clients ability and goals.

​

5.2. Results of this training are NOT guaranteed, as progress is determined by multiple factors including the clients dedication and effort both in training sessions and outside of them.

6. GYM ACCESS & FEES

​

6.1. Clients must maintain a valid membership for JD Gyms Coventry, as this is where Lift-AF operates from. 

​

6.2. Gym entry and fees are entirely separate from Lift-AF training fees and are not payable to the same place or included in any training fees Lift-AF offers.

​

6.3. Clients must adhere to JD Gyms Coventry gym rules, code of conduct, etiquette and opening hours.

7. SCHEDULING & FACILITY AVAILABILITY

​

7.1. Any closures of JD Gyms Coventry that happen unexpectedly (e.g. for maintenance or holidays) that fall on scheduled training days will be rescheduled at no extra cost to the client.

​

7.2. Sessions scheduled during peak gym hours (usually weekday 6am-9am and 5pm-8pm, times may vary) are subject to equipment availability and exercises may be modified to account for any equipment not available.

8. LIABILITY

​

8.1. Lift-AF is not responsible for any injuries caused by faulty/ or inappropriately used gym equipment owned by JD Gyms.

​

8.2. The client acknowledges that any type of training, training in public and commercial spaces carries inherent risks, including accidental collisions or trips caused by other gym users.

​

8.3. The client will sign the 'informed consent' form given to them in the initial consultation prior to any training commencing.
